Who is Nikah Sunnah for?
It's for serious Muslims who intend to marry and want a respectful, modest, family-involved process. Sincere practice and serious marriage intent are what matter — you don't need to belong to any particular group. Sisters are encouraged to involve their wali (guardian) from the beginning of the process.
Is it free to join?
Yes. Creating your profile, browsing, searching with the core filters, and sending and accepting contact requests are all free. A Premium plan adds extra features if you want them, but many members can use the platform fully for free.
How does Nikah Sunnah work, step by step?
Register and verify your email, complete your profile, then browse profiles of the opposite gender. When you find someone of interest, send a contact request. If they accept, it becomes a mutual match — and you can then share contact details and continue with family involvement.
How does Nikah Sunnah follow Islamic principles of modesty?
Through how the platform is built: gender-segregated browsing, modest avatar options instead of photos, no open chat, contact details kept private until both sides agree, and the option to invite your wali or a family member to manage your profile. The aim is to reduce free-mixing and keep interactions purposeful and respectful.
Why is there no swiping or open chatting?
Because the platform is built around modesty (haya) and serious intent. Removing swiping and open chat reduces casual, free-mixing-style interaction and keeps the focus on marriage — something a wali or parent can be comfortable being part of.
How does Nikah Sunnah keep the platform safe?
Our team reviews profiles, and every member can report or block anyone. Reports are handled by our moderation team, and profiles that are fake, abusive, or not serious can be removed.
Can I message or chat with people on the platform?
There's no open chat. You can add a short note to a contact request, and once both sides accept, you can exchange contact details to continue the conversation with family involved. A secure, monitored messaging option for verified members is planned for a future update.
Is my phone number visible to others?
No. Your contact details stay private and are never shown on your profile. They're only exchanged after you have a mutual match and choose to reveal them. We treat your data as an amanah (trust), collect only what's needed to help you find a spouse, and you can delete your data at any time.
