Nikah Sunnah began not in a conference room, but in prayer. We started a quiet, highly-vetted Telegram group for practising Muslims who felt spiritually compromised by modern mainstream dating algorithms. The criteria were simple: absolute privacy, strict adherence to the prophetic Sunnah, and zero tolerance for casual interaction.

We facilitated hand-written, deeply respectful introductions where guardians were included from the very first message. Mohammed's story with Nikah Sunnah didn't begin with code. It began with his own search for a spouse. He married through Faisal's original Telegram community, walking that journey the Sunnah way with his mother beside him at every step. He knew the experience from the inside: scrolling profiles inside a chat, messaging admins to coordinate, waiting on introductions arranged by hand, and he saw first-hand how strictly the team verified every single profile.
A Principal Software Engineer based in Germany with ten years in the craft, Mohammed knew a chat channel could never carry the weight of what this community was doing. Telegram and WhatsApp were never built to scale wali-led, verified matchmaking. So he proposed bringing that same strict, every-profile-verified standard into a real platform, one where seekers and their walis can save, sort, filter and connect with the same trust the admins had always protected, only faster, safer, and at scale.
