Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At Nikah Sunnah, our mission is to help Muslims pursue marriage through a structured, respectful, and marriage-focused platform. Membership fees contribute towards:

  • Profile review and verification
  • Platform development and maintenance
  • Customer support
  • Matching and recommendation services
  • Community safety and moderation efforts

As many of these services begin shortly after registration, refunds are subject to the terms outlined below.

2. Account Cancellation

You may deactivate or close your account at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Your profile will no longer be visible to other users.
  • New introductions and recommendations may cease.
  • Certain information may be retained as required by our Privacy Policy, legal obligations, fraud prevention requirements, or operational needs.

Account cancellation does not automatically qualify a user for a refund.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refund requests may be considered in the following situations:

  • Duplicate Payments: If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same service, the duplicate payment will be refunded.
  • Billing Errors: If a payment was processed incorrectly due to an error on our part, we will investigate and issue an appropriate refund where applicable.
  • Service Unavailability: If Nikah Sunnah is unable to provide the purchased service due to a prolonged technical failure or operational issue, a partial or full refund may be considered at our discretion.
  • Early Cancellation: Users may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase provided:
    • No profile review has been completed.
    • No verification process has commenced.
    • No platform benefits have been utilized.
    • No introductions or recommendations have been provided.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • You change your mind after purchasing a membership.
  • You decide to postpone your marriage search.
  • You do not receive the number of matches you expected.
  • You are dissatisfied with the compatibility of suggested matches.
  • You become inactive on the platform.
  • You find a spouse through Nikah Sunnah or through another source.
  • Your account is suspended, restricted, or terminated for violating our Terms of Use.
  • Profile review, verification, onboarding, matching, or other membership services have already commenced.
  • Marriage compatibility and successful outcomes depend on many factors outside the control of Nikah Sunnah and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

5. Subscription Renewals

If recurring subscriptions are offered, users may cancel future renewals at any time before the next billing cycle. Cancellation of a recurring subscription will prevent future charges but will not typically result in refunds for the current billing period.

6. Refund Review Process

All refund requests are reviewed individually. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval. Nikah Sunnah reserves the right to:

  • Request additional information.
  • Investigate payment history.
  • Determine refund eligibility based on account activity and service usage.
  • Decisions regarding refunds shall be final.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@nikahsunnah.com and provide:

  • Your registered email address
  • Transaction details
  • Reason for the refund request

Refund requests are typically reviewed within 5–7 business days. Approved refunds will be issued through the original payment method where possible.

8. Changes to This Policy

Nikah Sunnah reserves the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on the platform and become effective upon posting.
